S-HIS Distributed Data Check Plots (08/03/2007)
Plot Description
The table below contains 10 plots. The plots are intended to indicate whether questionable calibrated radiances are being included in the distributed science product. Column 1 contains scene radiances included in the netcdf distribution. Column 2 contains Blackbody Reference radiances that are being included in the calibration pipeline for these scene radiances. Questionable radiances are indicated in red and have been identified using the imaginary part of the calibrated radiance. Significant spectral signature in the imaginary part of the calibrated radiance indicates a potential problem with the radiometric calibration of that radiance.
- Row 1: LW Earth radiances included in the distributed data (LW Real and LW Imag)
- Row 2: MW Earth radiances included in the distributed data (MW Real and MW Imag)
- Row 3: SW Earth radiances included in the distributed data (SW Real and SW Imag)
- Row 4: Mean Real Radiance timeseries (wavenumber ranges indicated in title of each subplot)
- Row 5: Mean Imag Radiance timeseries. This mean is used to index questionable calibrated radiances (wavenumber ranges indicated in title of each subplot)
